Welcome to GeigerMusic. This site covers a lot of ground, from my creative project that is Geiger, to arts and fashion, music business and philosophy, and how all this ties in with music.
Geiger is a concept that I work in; a state of writing, creativity, memory and emotion. I write from the view point of past experience, but, with occasional hypothetical outcome. One moment, can lead into a wealth of possible moments that follow it, sometimes I follow the one that followed, sometimes the one that could have followed. It’s a very conceptual part of myself, where there is etiquette, ‘rules’ and format that operate in that general basis.
You can wander this realm as a lurker, and that’s great. Listen, read, think, and hopefully you’ll find something that interests you. But, the main point of my project is to interact with people, to talk and listen. You’re more than welcome, and I encourage you, to leave a comment or question on anything and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. I share myself with my creations, and I hope that somewhat, people are willing to share with me as well. I feel, you feel. I’m accepted (through Geiger), and I accept.
Thanks for visiting my page, I hope you enjoy it! Below, is a bit more in depth information about Geiger, should it interest you.
That general basis (mentioned above), is “Raining in Berlin.” Which is the collection of my creative works. Music, visual art and poem. There are two subcategories in which these pieces will fall, and the meaning of them is a vital in this categorisation. The two categories are “Memoirs of the mentally ill” and “Broken Pieces of my mind”, in a way, their names give away what they entail. The memoirs, are ‘extracts’ from my mental diary, emotions, contemplations, delusions and other inspirations that I’ve had. These memoirs are ‘full’ thoughts and ideas, whole situations encapsulated in that work. This is in contrast to the broken pieces, which are small snapshots of thought or feeling I’ve had. In a musical sense, the memoirs are ‘proper songs’ and the broken pieces are usually one phrase, repetitious to elongate the time that snapshot can be held.
Together these constitute my life, a story of what I’ve been through.
Geiger.
